This Privacy Policy explains how CivilStack (“we”, “us”) handles your information when you use the SnapDilap app for conducting pre-construction dilapidation surveys and generating reports. We aim to collect only what we need to provide the service, and to be honest about how it is used. We do not sell your personal information.

What data we collect

• Account details — your email address and name, used to sign you in and attribute your work.
• Location / GPS — captured during a survey to tag photos and frames with where they were taken.
• Photos & videos — the images and footage you capture during surveys, and any defect notes attached to them.
• Device information — basic technical details (such as device type and app version) needed to run the app reliably.

How we use it

• To provide the dilapidation survey service — recording, organising, and reviewing your captured footage.
• To generate reports — including AI-assisted defect analysis and image captioning, GPS maps, and the final PDF.
• To sync your data across devices so your jobs and frames are available wherever you sign in.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the app. They process your data only to perform their service for us:

• Supabase — secure cloud storage, database, and authentication for your account, jobs, frames, and images.
• Anthropic — AI analysis of survey images to detect defects and write condition captions.
• Resend — delivery of report emails on your behalf.
• Google Maps — satellite imagery used to build the location maps in your reports.

How long we keep it

Your jobs, frames, and associated images are retained while your account is active so you can access and report on your surveys. When you delete a job (or a frame) it is removed from your device and from our cloud storage. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, and we will action it.
